Lewis and Clark in Illinois Country (Teen/Adults) 2022-07-12T18:00:00How much do you remember about the Lewis and Clark Expedition from school? Meriwether Lewis and William Clark along with the Corps of Discovery would travel over thousands of miles, make countless discovies and meet thousands of peoples. They would successfully cross all the way to the Pacific Ocean and back and lose just one man along the way. None of this could have been possible without their time in the Ilinois Country.
Come learn about Ilinois' connection to the Lewis and Clark Expedition, from the Wabash River to Camp River Dubois. Site Superintendent, Brad Winn will lead a discussion about the importance of Illinois to the future success of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Led by the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site and the official Camp River Dubois.
