City residents: Registration for yard and garage sales are now completed online only. There is no charge and no permit necessary to have a sale, but residents are limited to three sales per year. We're pleased to provide you with this simple, digital registration experience that will allow you to register your sale from the comfort of your own home! Sales may be entered any time before your sale begins. There is no deadline; however, it may take up to two business days for your sale to be approved and added to the site. Please double check that you have entered the correct sale dates before submitting your information.
Use the same link (below) to view and print a map and/or list of sales. You may even sort the sales by date and/or by item categories, such as "Baby Items" and/or "Tools."
TO ENTER YOUR SALE OR TO VIEW OR PRINT A LIST OF SALES:
1. Click on the following web page: skyview.hornershifrin.com/columbiail/sales.
2. Click on the blue, "I WANT TO..." box located at the top left of the map.
3. Click on the option that you desire such as, "Add a Yard Sale to the Map" or "Print a List of Yard Sales."
4. On the left side of your screen, you will see the form fields you will need to complete. Please take your time and read the directions carefully as you enter your information and are guided through the process.
Please remember that yard sales will be added daily, and should you decide to print a list of sales, you should do so as close as possible to the time you decide to go shopping in order to get the most up-to-date list possible.
On the day of the sale, be a "smart" shopper...The best way to find the items you're looking for is on your smart phone! You'll always have the most current information at your fingertips!
