City of Columbia Special Events - Sue Spargo, 618-281-7144 ext. 134. Volunteers are needed to assist at the following special events: Reduce, Re-use, Recycle event in April, FestiFall in early Fall, Halloween Hi-Jinks the Saturday before Halloween, Bright Night Christmas Parade the first Saturday in December and/or Visit with Santa Sundays in December.
Columbia Women's Club - Gaylene Everts, 618-363-0269. Volunteers are needed May - October, 1 day per week. Volunteers help plant and maintain flower gardens in various locations throughout the City.
Grace Adoption - Carol Turnquist, 618-304-4758 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers build a relationship with a senior citizen in a nursing home or another care facility in our community.

Columbia Kiwanis Club Toy Drive - Benefits Monroe County House of Neighborly Service. Donate toys for needy children in Monroe County. Beginning November 23rd, drop new unwrapped toys in Kiwanis Club bins located at Columbia McDonalds, Columbia Firestone, Schnucks, Dollar General, Budnick, Khoury Pharmacy, Columbia National Bank, 1st National Bank of Waterloo Columbia location, George Weber Cheverolet, Hentscher-Johnson Orthodontics and Dairy Queen.
