Admiral Trost Park

When the Admiral Trost Development Subdivision, a major component of the Admiral Parkway Redevelopment Area, was platted in 1994, a 33.8-acre parcel was retained along Carr Creek for future development as a park. There is now an adopted master plan guiding the long-term use of this property, and the City is working with its public and private partners to seek funding to implement the improvements envisioned in the document.. Representatives from the City and its consultant, SWT Design of St. Louis, worked with citizens and local groups to best determine how to develop the park property for future recreational and community benefit. The resulting plan includes many new active and passive uses such as a football stadium, practice fields, a fitness path, new wetlands with interpretive areas, a public boardwalk along Carr Creek, and a destination playground.
