Concord Presbyterian Church i Waterloo is hosting it's annual Vacation Bible School for children between the ages of 4 and 12 on July 9-13. The theme will be, "The Armor of God." This is a free community event and everyone is welcome. Children should invite their friends! Children of all ages in Columbia can get a free lunch during the summer provided by TWIGS, a charitable non-profit organization, and distributed by Bethany United Methodist Church. Lunches are distributed Monday thru Friday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The TWIGS organization has been providing free summer lunches throughout the Metro-East since 2011.
