Due to the vendor not accepting certain items and additional non-recyclable items being left on the DOPW parking lot, the City of Columbia has made the difficult decision to discontinue this service.  However, the City would like to encourage citizens to take advantage of the Monroe County Recycling Center located at 901 Illinois Avenue in Waterloo (behind the Monroe County Health Department).  Hours are M-F 8-4 & Sat 8-Noon.
